DEC statement regarding the escalation of conflict in Gaza and southern Israel in November 2012.
The DEC is extremely concerned by the recent escalation of violence in Gaza and southern Israel. Member agencies and their partners are providing medical assistance to affected people in Gaza and Israel. The DEC is continuing to monitor the developing humanitarian situation closely with our member agencies.
Oxfam, Save the Children, Christian Aid, CARE International and Islamic Relief have all issued statements calling for restraint from both sides.
