Darfur
In Gereida Camp, reducing malnutrition among people who have been forced to leave their homes in Gereida and surrounding villages by providing targeted nutritional support from prevention through to treatment and rehabilitation of malnourished children according to international standards. ICRC is now responsible for food distribution, shelter, water, sanitation facilities and household essentials, basic health care and nutritional support.
Duration: 9 months.
Locations: Darfur, Gereida Camp for IDP’s (Internally displaced people)
Chad
For a 3 month period, providing civilians affected by armed conflict or violence in eastern Chad with adequate water and health services and the basic resources to restore of preserve their economic security.
Duration: 3 months
Locations: Chad, Eastern border region of Chad in Assoungha and Dar Sila
CAR
Providing people displaced by armed violence with the essential items they lack to restore their economic security. In poor rural or violence-affected areas, this means better access to clean drinking water and sanitation facilities improving living conditions and public health.
Duration: 3 months
Location: CAR, Ouham, Ouham-Pende, Nan-Grebizi and the north eastern region
