I don’t understand what Gift Aid is. Can you explain?

Gift Aid allows the charity to reclaim the tax paid by UK tax payers on their donations. At no extra cost to the donor the charity can reclaim 28p in every £1 donated. For more information go to: http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/individuals/giving/gift-aid.htm
