What are the 13 Humanitarian Aid Agencies doing in Myanmar?
DEC funds will initially be used to provide immediate relief and distribution of plastic tarpaulins and other essential household items such as blankets and clothing; Distribution of food aid; Hygiene kits; Water purification; Provision of health care; Child protection. Medium and longer term support will be evaluated once the Member Agencies have completed their initial assessments.
