Other Ways to Give
As well as donating online, by telephone or post, you can also support the work we do by giving shares, leaving a legacy or donating through your payroll.
Giving Shares
ShareGift was set up in 1996 to provide a charitable solution to the problem of unwanted small holdings of shares.
Such small amounts of shares are often difficult or even impossible to dispose of because of the costs involved. Even if you have just one or two shares, ShareGift provides an easy answer - give them to charity. ShareGift's main purpose is to collect shares, sell them and use the proceeds to make donations to a wide range of UK charities.
Leaving a Legacy
Remembering the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) in your will can help us continue our work in the future and give future generations a chance at life. Charitable bequests are free of inheritance tax. Discuss with your solicitor if you would like to leave a legacy to the DEC.
Donate at Work
Giving through your payroll is one of the easiest and most effective ways to donate to the DEC. There are also many other ways in which your company can help support the work we do. Read How Your Company Can Help and Corporate DEC for further information.
