Why should the public give money to the DEC when agencies have highlighted that various improvements are needed, for example in their application of agreed processes?
The assessment tool was designed to drive improvement, not to self congratulate. Hopefully the public will welcome the DEC’s sector leadership in greater scrutiny leading to a journey of continuous improvement.
