What has happened to DEC Evaluations?
The DEC continues to commission reports for both learning and accountability. The findings are reported in the Annual Report. The Member Agencies are required to publish the results of independent evaluations on a predetermined sample basis (generally 4 agencies per appeal). For Appeal responses in 2008/09 we await reports from a number of agencies and for Myanmar there are reports from World Vision and Save the Children which are on their web sites and linked from the DEC pages.
