What are the terms and conditions for text to donate?
1. The donation service will run between 17:28 on 15/01/2010 and 12:00 noon on 15/02/2010
2. The service is open to all residents of the UK, aged 18 or over. You must use your own mobile phone for this service.
3. Entry to the service is only by texting the word GIVE or DEC or Haiti to the shortcode 70077. Text messages cost £5 plus your standard network message charge (based on your service provider rates). Your text message entry will result in a £5 donation to the DEC Haiti Earthquake Appeal for each successful text transaction.
4. To enter the service, you will need to text the keyword GIVE to 70077. Please make sure you key-in the short code and spell the keyword correctly.
5. If your keyword and short code are valid, and your text message is received within the specified times and dates, you will be charged £5 via a bounce-back message.
6. If your keyword or short code are invalid, or your text message is received outside the specified times and dates, you may not receive a bounce-back but may still be charged your standard network message charge. You will not be charged the £5 donation charge, and you will not be donating to DEC Haiti Earthquake Appeal.
