Bangladesh Appeal
As of May 2008 the total funds raised by the DEC from the British public for the Bangladesh Cyclone Appeal came to £9 Million. This appeal is open to donations until end of August 2008, to donate send a cheque made payable to DEC Bangladesh Cyclone Appeal, to DEC Secretariat, 1st Floor, 43 Chalton Street, London NW1 1DU, you can also send a Donate by post form (Pdf).
Darfur and Chad Crisis Appeal
The conflict in Darfur and Chad has now affected over 4.5 million people. The situation is in its fifth year, with people continuing to flee from the violence and joining the vast, overcrowded camps. Tsunami Earthquake Appeal
On 26 December 2004, an earthquake occurred which triggered a series of tsunamis along the coasts of the Indian Ocean. It turned out to be one of the most devastating disasters in modern history. The DEC raised £390 million, which has helped thousands rebuild their lives. Read Tsunami Appeal.
