Independent Trustees

The DEC is currently seeking two Independent Trustees to join our exceptional Board from Spring/Summer 2027. 

These roles present an opportunity to provide strategic guidance, challenge, and support to expert colleagues as they carry out critical work. We are particularly keen to hear from individuals with skills across the following areas: news media, public broadcasters, communications, digital technologies, fundraising, and public engagement. 

We have engaged Perrett Laver to work on these vacancies for the DEC, and you can apply for the role here.
