The latest information for media organisations on the humanitarian situation in Ukraine and the DEC-funded response.

The DEC’s research and learning agenda identifies key subject areas to investigate through our research activities. These topics cover the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing the humanitarian sector including accountability to affected communities, climate change, localisation, safeguarding and cash support.

In the last 60 years the DEC has raised £2.4 billion to respond to earthquakes and tsunamis, hunger and drought, the impacts of conflict and climate change and reached millions of people in humanitarian need.
