A review of DEC member programmes in phase 1 of the humanitarian response.

The 2010 Haiti Earthquake Appeal is now closed. Thanks to generous donations from the public, this appeal raised over £107 million to help people affected by the disaster.

The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) has launched an urgent appeal to raise funds to help those forced to flee their homes in Ukraine in what is predicted to be the biggest refugee crisis this century. 

We help people whose lives and livelihoods have been shattered by conflict and disaster, including the climate crisis, to survive, recover, and rebuild.
