In December last year, we launched an urgent appeal for the crisis in Afghanistan, which has raised an incredible £50 million. From the thousands of people we have supported, here are three lives we have impacted, thanks to donations from the UK public.

The DEC has a small team who carry out the day-to-day running of the organisation. When we launch an appeal, staff seconded from member charities, freelancers and creative agencies form a larger pop-up team.
