On 1 September 2022, the DEC launched the Pakistan Floods Appeal after heavy monsoon rains led to the worst flooding on record. The appeal raised £46.5 million in the first six months. This report looks at how DEC funds have been used to support communities affected by the disater in the immediate aftermath and the first phase of the response.
A research study has been conducted by London School of Economics to identify drivers to support social protection systems in Ukraine, as well as observing hindering factors that might need to be alleviated to create a more effective response.
