Pakistan is among the top ten countries in the world most affected by climate change. In the immediate aftermath of the 2022 floods, DEC charities provided emergency relief and funds from the appeal are now helping communities to rebuild their livelihoods. This includes training rural communities in climate-smart farming techniques to help build their resilience to future disasters.

In Kharkiv, Ukraine's second largest city, DEC funds are supporting an innovative project that delivers regular food baskets to people's homes, thanks to a network of volunteer cyclists.
