Preparing for further climate disasters in Pakistan

Pakistan is among the top ten countries in the world most affected by climate change. In the immediate aftermath of the 2022 floods, DEC charities provided emergency relief and funds from the appeal are now helping communities to rebuild their livelihoods. This includes training rural communities in climate-smart farming techniques to help build their resilience to future disasters.

What's happening in Myanmar?

A year ago, on 28 March 2025, a powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake devastated huge areas of Myanmar. One year on, DEC funds are continuing to support people impacted by the earthquake as they rebuild their lives and look towards the future.
