DEC Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal reaches £150m, six months on from the disaster

The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) today announced that donations to the Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal have reached an incredible £151.8 million, six months on from the devastating earthquakes that killed at least 58,000 people across southern Turkey (now known as Türkiye) and northwest Syria. The total includes £5 million matched by the UK Government through the Aid Match scheme.
