The DEC has a small team who carry out the day-to-day running of the organisation. When we launch an appeal, staff seconded from member charities, freelancers and creative agencies form a larger pop-up team.

Donations from the UK public are helping farmers restart their livelihoods following last year’s devastating floods, and face up to an uncertain future.

With £14 million raised after the DEC extended our Coronavirus Appeal to include India, DEC charities have scaled up their work, but warn that there is more to do.
