What we do with your money

With £14 million raised after the DEC extended our Coronavirus Appeal to include India, DEC charities have scaled up their work, but warn that there is more to do.

The DEC has a small team who carry out the day-to-day running of the organisation. When we launch an appeal, staff seconded from member charities, freelancers and creative agencies form a larger pop-up team.

How DEC charities are helping survivors in Turkey and Syria

14 DEC charities and their local partners are responding to the disaster, working with locally-led relief efforts to provide medical treatment, emergency cash payments, shelter, and ensuring people have food and clean water.
